The Three Kings of North Salt Lake, Utah

Posted by Shift Cycle Wear on 5/13/2014

The Three Kings Event held in North Salt Lake, Utah is becoming a much looked-forward to event in the cycling world and we, at www.shiftcyclewear.com are proud to be associated with it. We present to you the official jersey for the event that not only is trendy but includes all the features and top-quality you have come to expect from all our products.

The Three Kings of the event are the three peaks, Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar. Riders will be beginning the tour in North Salt Lake’s Hatch Park and every participant can choose the peak he/she wants to conquer. You could choose to test your mettle by challenging one or two or all three peaks. The organizers will be timing you as you complete each king at the timing gates at the foot of each peak. No matter how many you attempt, you will end your tour at North Salt Lake's Wild Rose Trailhead Park.

Jerry Seiner Bountiful will be putting up the total $1,000 that will be given away as prize money. Riders scaling the peaks in the shortest time can win the cash but we all know its never about the prize. Its always about the thrill and the excitement and the sensation of putting yourself through a dare and coming out your own personal winner.

Even so, men can win in three places. The first place earns $400, the second, $175 and the third, $75. Women can compete to win $200 for the first place, $100 for the second and $50 for the third. The fastest male and female participant to scale each peak can win an additional prize from North Salt Lake and Masherz in Woods Cross will present non-cash awards to riders in different age categories.

And if you’re thinking of trying the LOTOJA race next, the Three Kings are a great way to whet your appetite. But rider or supporter, the event calls for the special jersey and you can order yours up until June 29th. Click on the link below and check it out.
